There are many qualities that good friends posses. I think one of the most important qualities is being trustworthy. If you aren’t trustworthy then well no one can trust you. How can you be a good friend if you are going around and blabbing your friends business all over the place. To be a good friend I also think that honesty Is super important. If you are not honest to your friends then they won’t be able to believe you when you finally decide  to tell the truth. Why should they? You have abused their friendship and their faith in you.

My definition of success is happiness. In my opinion no one’s opinion matters besides your own. If you are happy then that is that. No one else matters. Your success is up to what you want it to be. If you think that your life was a failure and you aren’t happy with what you have did, whether your life has been successful or not you will think it was a failure. You will always believe what you keep telling yourself. So in conclusion if you aren’t happy then I do not think that you are successful. I think happiness is success.

In my personal opinion I believe that the school year is too long. I do not believe that the school year is too short or anywhere near being too short. I think it’s too long because kids need a break. When kids, or anyone for that matter, are doing something for such a long time they can get burnt out. The school year should be shorter so that kids can focus more and aren’t burnt out by the end of the year. With a shorter year they will still try to get good grades instead of giving up towards the end of the year and not caring about what their report cards look like.

Even if people don’t verbally say that they love you doesn’t mean that they don’t. They could just not like talking about their feelings, or they could be shy and maybe they don’t know how you feel about them. So staying quite is the safest option for them. Even if the person doesn’t say it you can still tell if they love you. When a person goes totally out of their way to do anything for you that will make your life even a little bit easier that’s a pretty good indication that they are in love with you. When the person lights up when you step into the room, or when they will do anything, and I mean anything, to just see you smile is when you know that they love you.

I think that girls are raised differently than boys to a certain extent. A lot of times girls aren’t allowed by their parents to do the same things that guys are. For example in most kid’s family’s girls have to be home earlier than boys do. Or the boys might not have a curfew at all but the girls do. I don’t think that any differences are necessarily bad though.They are just different. If a girl was to have a flat tire their dad would most likely go and help her, but if a guy were to have a flat they would probably have to change the tire themselves. I think that  girls and boys can definitely be raised the same way. How the kids are raised is totally up to the parents or guardians.  Some parents might raise them differently and others could raise them the exact same way.

I personally think that having the approval of one’s family in selecting a husband or wife is extremely important. When you are in a relationship it can be hard to see things  clearly, and see how things truly are because you are caught up in your feelings. if your family thinks that your future spouse is a great person and you guys will have a good relationship then it is a second opinion worth listening to. Your family knows you and they know when you are happy or not. You do not want to get stuck in a bad marriage with someone just because you did not listen to your family trying to warn you about that guy or girl being trouble for you.

I absolutely believe that teenagers are capable of experiencing true and lasting love. Just because you are younger does not mean that they cant experience true and lasting love. Most teenagers probably  think that they are in love when in reality they aren’t. that does not mean that there aren’t teens that are in love. When you find that one person that is the love of your life, your soulmate, you are going to fall in love with them. I don’t think not being completely grown and mature is going to stop you from falling in love with that person no matter who it may be.

If confronted with the question do I believe in love at first sight I honestly do not know what I would say. I believe that love at first sight can  happen and I know that it does happen but not all of the time. I think that love at first sight rarely happens but when it does I believe that it truly is love at first sight. All in all I would say that I do believe  in it. I just think that it happens on rare occasions and that it’s extremely special if you and someone else has had it together.

 Is lying ever justified?

                  In my personal opinion I do not think that lying can ever be truly justified. Yes I believe that there can be extremely good reasons for a person to tell a lie. Just because you didn’t want to tell that girl that her outfit looks hideous when she asked you and you said that it looked good doesn’t mean that your actions are justified, but honestly what else were you supposed to do? If you went around telling everyone the complete, honest, blunt truth then you wouldn’t have any friends just enemies. At the same time though if everyone goes around lying and you are caught in that lie then you wouldn’t really have any friends that way either and you wouldn’t feel good going around deceiving people. I think that there is a fine line don’t  lie but be sensitive of the other persons feelings when you speak the truth.

How hard is it to keep a secret? Are there circumstances when you think you should break a promise about keeping a secret?

It’s not very hard for me to keep a secret. When people come to me and tell me something that they obviously do not want other people to know then I try respect their wishes and keep my mouth shut. However even though u shouldn’t tell other people’s secrets just because u want to doesn’t mean that some secrets should be kept. If whoever told you the secret is in danger like maybe they want to kill themselves that is a secret that you shouldn’t keep. You should go to their parents or some adult who they know and trust and tell them about this problem so your friend can get better help than what you can offer.
